Thus, the Soundog (also known as Sounddog or Sound Dog), created by the people over at Sprox, is a wireless speaker system for use in restaurants, bars, health clubs and other facilities having multiple television screens.
This “canine-inspired” wireless audio system works with most regular or high-definition cable or satellite receivers and, basically, is a system that allows the broadcast of audio signals from a central transmitter to receivers (and consequently, to speakers) that are installed on each of the establishment’s tables.
The system consists of the Soundog transmitter, the 8-channel receiver, as well as a charging station (dubbed the “Doghouse”) used for recharging each of the separate speaker units. And since we’re on the subject, it’s important to mention the fact that all the speakers provide personal, directional sound, push buttons and easy on/off volume control.
Furthermore, they sport a very tough, yet lightweight polycarbonate plastic casing, very suitable for long-term usage, especially in very crowded places such as bars, restaurants or pubs.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer doesn’t offer us any pricing details, so bar owners who are interested in installing such a system in their establishments will have to contact the company’s representatives personally.
